The wonderful Sebastian Inlet State Park in Florida is situated on a stretch of barrier island on Florida’s east coast. The inlet is actually a manmade cut through the island. One of the main features connects the Atlantic Ocean to a very bio-diverse estuary. The park comprises more than 1,000 acres and stretches over three miles of the barrier island.

Anglers flock to the site to try their hands at catching bluefish, red fish, Spanish mackerel and snook. You will also find a boat dock and launch facilities.
Visitors will find three miles of gorgeous beaches that provide the opportunity to swim, scuba dive, snorkel, and sun bathe. Surfers also find this popular area very exciting, and several major surf competitions are held here each year. In addition, the nearby Indian River Lagoon provides canoeing and kayaking activities. Many people enjoy a stroll down the Hammock Trail, and the waterfront pavilions and picnic areas are perfect for family gatherings.
You will find two museums within the park. The Sebastian Fishing Museum provides a glimpse of the area’s fishing industry, while the McLarty Treasure Museum brings the history of the 1715 Spanish treasure fleet. There are also several interpretive education programs that are offered on a regular basis.

Sebastian Inlet State Park is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
The Sebastian Fishing Museum and McLarty Museum are open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., except major holidays.
Admission Fees to the Park:
• $4 – Single occupant vehicle
• $8 per vehicle with multiple occupants – there is an eight people per vehicle limit.
• $2 – Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of a Florida State Park Annual Individual Admission Pass
• The boat ramp fee is $4.00 + tax, which is in addition to the entrance fee.
