The new 12-acre land, inspired by the AVATAR film brings the world of Pandora to life with amazing creatures and a ground glowing magical touch. The largest expansion of Disney’s Animal Kingdom to date, the land takes on a new life, using bioluminescent flora and nighttime immersive programming that give it realistic detail.

The lush land contains themed restaurants and fantastical rides allowing visitors to explore the moon Pandora. Na’Vi artifacts can also be seen throughout the land, making the experience authentic for all family members.

Rumor has it visitors will be able to enjoy one of two attractions, during their Avatar adventure.

In the second attraction, Flight of Passage, guests will soar on the back of a mountain Banshee through the land of Pandora in a speculated 3D flight simulator. While not confirmed, rumors have it that the ride is “so life-like” that there is nothing to compare it to…

Number 2 on our list, Universal Orlando’s new Volcano Bay.

Said to be an “innovative water theme park” Orlando’s newest water park is set to open Early Summer 2017. Transporting you to a little Pacific Isle, guests become part of the Waturi, native islanders who have enjoyed the isle’s experiences for centuries.

The new park showcases a colossal volcano, sparkling beach, waterfalls and much more. The centerpiece of this tropical paradise? The towering Krakatuau. Set 200 feet above the landscape, guests will enjoy an amazing ride in a four-person canoe through the isle mists and dark twists and turns within the volcano before emerging through the final plunge of a shimmering waterfall.
